Upward Sports is a community league for children in grades Kindergarten (5 years old) through 3rd grade.  Your child will learn basketball fundamentals while also building character, increasing their self-esteem, and learning how to be part of a team.  Every child, regardless of their abilities, will get equal playing time in every game and will be cheered on by the coaches, referees, and fans in the stands.  Because we believe that what is happening inside of your child is even more important than what is happening on the court.  Wins and losses will be forgotten - but character lasts forever.

Player Evaluations

All players must be evaluated so that we can evenly draft the teams.  No reservations are required - show up and we'll have you out in about 30 minutes.

Practices and Games

Each basketball team will have a 1 hour weeknight practice and a 1 hour Saturday game beginning in January.

Practices nights are either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings.

For Winter 2024 Season:
First practice - beginning week of January 8
First game - Saturday, January 20
**We are planning for a six game season
that ends February 24**

Costs and Fees

Early Registration: $35
Regular Registration: $45

Your registration gets you a reversible game jersey, T-shirt, and a basketball.
