The Book of Judges is one of the hardest books in the Bible to read.  Filled with brutal violence, palace intrigue, and questionable moral choices, the book is a reminder of what happens when people turn their backs on God and make themselves the ruler of life.  Still, there is grace and God can work even through flawed people and bad choices.  This series has much to say about how we can live faithfully for Jesus in our current cultural moment.
