When Jesus invited His disciples “follow me,” what did He mean?  I think Jesus meant more than just following Him around so we could learn to do what He did.  He was inviting the disciples into something deeper – a relationship that formed and transformed them into who God always created them to be.  But first, they had to spend three years “being with Jesus.” Just being is hard because it seems so passive, so unimportant, so, dare I say it, inconsequential.  And yet, it was the lessons learned in that time being with Jesus that was the powerhouse for their ministry after His death and resurrection.  Join us for Lent as we learn and focus on being “with” Jesus first.

It doesn’t matter if you have been involved in church for a long time and are looking to make a switch, or if you are considering this “church-thing” for the first time – looking for a new church home can be scary.
