Each church tradition has a unique flavor because of what it chooses to emphasize. John Wesley began Methodism as a renewal movement within the Church of England in the 1700’s by focusing on some beliefs that he thought were being underemphasized in the larger church. As Global Methodists, we carry the heritage of our founder and those unique ways that Wesley invited the people called Methodists to do the Christian life. This series will highlight some of those elements that have a special place in the life of the Methodists.

It doesn’t matter if you have been involved in church for a long time and are looking to make a switch, or if you are considering this “church-thing” for the first time – looking for a new church home can be scary.
