We often view Jesus’ disciples in a negative light, noting how much they got wrong in following Jesus.  However, as they watched Jesus’ ministry, they didn’t ask Him to teach them to heal or teach or do miracles but – to pray.  The disciples understood at some deep level in watching Jesus that prayer was where He received His power to do everything.  It’s the same for us today – our ability to live faithfully in this world is directly connected to our relationship with God, which we gain by prayer.  No matter how you pray, this series will help us grow in our practice of prayer.

It doesn’t matter if you have been involved in church for a long time and are looking to make a switch, or if you are considering this “church-thing” for the first time – looking for a new church home can be scary.
